We’re in a celebratory mood this week! We have received word of the academic excellence achieved by the matric (Grade 12) learners at Masibambane College! 65 of our learners sat for the exam and they attained a 96.9% pass rate, with 62% of them securing a bachelor’s pass. 31% of our students achieved a diploma pass and 5%, a higher certificate pass.
We are so proud of these results because not only has it been a tough 2 years for these matriculants with COVID-19 related disruptions, but the school has also faced its own challenges over this period which makes these results even more remarkable.
We would also like to send a special congratulations to Jubilee Dongo, who did exceptionally well and achieved an outstanding result of 9 distinctions, with 6 of those being well in the 90s! In her interview with Bongani Bingwa from Talk 702, she shared her hopes to study Actuarial Sciences at Wits University. We wish her the best in all her future endeavours.
