Transforming The Lives Of Young Students With Technology

Zensar, a leading digital solutions and technology services company that specialises in partnering with global organisations across industries on their digital transformation journey, has partnered with Education Africa to sponsor 10 students who are currently enrolled in the Education Africa UNISA Programme in Business Focused Management. The company has also sponsored tablets to 20 additional students in the programme who received scholarships from Growthpoint.

James Urdang, CEO & Founder of Education Africa said, “It is due to the contribution of companies like Zensar  and Growthpoint that we are able to extend our scope and reach. By being at the coalface of the 4th Industrial revolution, we are are able to take tertiary education programmes to students in townships and rural areas through the use of technology.”

Harish Lala, Senior Vice-President and Head, South Africa, Zensar commented, “We are proud to be associated with Education Africa through this initiative. Our team has consistently worked with local bodies to drive Social-Economic Development Programmes, enabling many local youth to be highly employable. This programme will help these deserving students leverage more control over their lives and embark on successful careers”.

The key initiative is to contribute positively, support and mentor the students to take the leap forward in their lives.

The programme upgrade, to enable teaching through technology, was sponsored by Hot Slots.
